Preparation Course for 2012
Trinity Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE)
Trinity Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) are internationally recognized English language examinations for testing speaking and listening skills. They take the form of a one-to-one conversation between the student and a highly qualified Trinity examiner who comes from the UK to conduct the assessment.
Trinity Guildhall Examination Centre
We are a Registered Examination Centre for both Trinity Drama & Speech and GESE Examinations. Trinity Guildhall Examination Board has been appointing experienced examiners to host the quarterly Examination at our centre since 2009.

Explorer Island’s preparation coursesare taught through a variety of conversation, hand gestures and fun games. Our materials come as a supplement to the GESE workbook, and can only be found at Explorer Island. Towards the end of the course the student will have mock interviews with multiple teachers to help simulate a true exam environment. It has divided into 2 level: Beginner & Advanced levels
1)Advanced Trinity GESE Preparation Class
This class is suitable for children with a basic knowledge of English language usage. The advanced class prepares students for the GESE examination in a thorough manner. More focus would be on the mock interviews to ensure that the students are properly prepared for the examination.

2)Beginner Trinity GESE Preparation Class
This class is designed for children with little knowledge of English language usage. More training on basic interview question answering and topics such as animals, colours, number etc, will be provided through worksheets and games. Manners and discipline are also key components of the GESE examinations and students will be taught all of these aspects of the examination.
